Become a volunteer with your organization

WITS recruits Power Lunch and Workplace Mentoring volunteers from corporations and other community organizations. Check to see if your community is listed among our partners and contact that organization
directly to volunteer.

Not listed? Then you may be the one to introduce
WITS to your community. Let us know if you're
interested. Contact Jenné Myers, Executive Director, at 312.368.9487.

Become an individual volunteer

WITS recruits individual volunteers to become
Classroom Assistants or join our Saturday Program.
If you are interested in joining our volunteer force,
please complete the volunteer application and fax to Alexis A. Wormley at 312.368.7011.

"Children need to have good role models and warm loving adults around to work with them. My class found just that and much more in all of you."

Essie Harmon, Medill Elementary School teacher

Become an Early Childhood Volunteer

WITS is currently recruiting individual volunteers for the Early Childhood Volunteer Program. Volunteers will visit Peabody Elementary School once or twice a week (the choice is yours!) for two hours and read with three- and four-year old preschool students. Erikson Institute will conduct training sessions for volunteers in this program.

If you are interested, please contact Liz Smith at 312.368.9487.

Become a partner

WITS is continuously seeking civic-minded businesses and organizations to join our volunteer force. In addition to providing volunteers our partnering businesses assist in our fundraising efforts.

If you are interested in Power Lunch or Workplace Mentoring please contact Jenné Myers, Executive Director.
